A modern Japanese fine-dining restaurant in Manhattan is looking for a Maître d’Hotel / Hospitality Coordinator to join our front-of-house team.
This is a high-visibility role responsible for orchestrating the flow of service, managing reservations, and creating a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

$36.50 – $38.00 (based on experience and skills)
Responsibilities
- Manage daily reservations and floor planning
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Coordinate timing of service with FOH and kitchen teams
- Handle VIP and special occasions with attention to detail
- Ensure smooth communication across service staff
Requirements
- Previous maître d’ or front desk experience in upscale restaurants
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; interest in Japanese cuisine is a plus
- High level of professionalism and hospitality mindset
