A world-renowned sushi restaurant is preparing to launch a new location in Manhattan, New York.
We are seeking a Head Sushi Chef to lead the culinary team for this new flagship location.

Manhattan, New York (brand-new opening)
Compensation
$150,000 – $170,000/year (commensurate with experience and skill)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-end omakase-style sushi at the counter
- Manage sourcing, quality control, and kitchen operations
- Lead and train kitchen staff, supporting a strong and respectful team culture
- Collaborate with FOH to ensure seamless guest experience
- Oversee hygiene and food safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Sushi Chef in a high-end sushi establishment
- Advanced sushi techniques and ingredient knowledge
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Familiarity with cost control, inventory, and kitchen management
- Professional communication skills in English
- Willingness to commit long-term to the New York culinary scene
