A new high-end Japanese restaurant is set to open in downtown Toronto, and we are seeking an Omakase Chef to lead its culinary program.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in kaiseki, omakase, or modern Japanese cuisine, and be confident in developing menus, managing kitchen operations, and training staff.
Position Details
Omakase Chef (Full-Time)
- Location: Toronto, Ontario
- Hours: 40+ hours/week
- Salary: $60,000–$80,000 CAD/year (based on experience)
- Payment: Monthly salary
- Responsibilities:
- Omakase menu planning and execution
- Ingredient sourcing, inventory, and cost control
- Kitchen operations management
- Team supervision and training
