A new sushi restaurant opening in New York in 2026 is seeking a passionate Sake Sommelier to share the appeal of Japanese cuisine and sake with the world.

Position:
- Sake Sommelier (Full-time Employee)
Main Responsibilities
- Propose pairings of sushi with sake, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Select and manage drink menus
- Create unique guest experiences through counter service and conversation
- Oversee operations including inventory management and ordering
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality or beverage service, preferably in fine dining
- Strong interest in sake and commitment to continuous learning
- Basic English communication skills for customer service
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship available)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: approx. $70,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
