Main Responsibilities
- Assisting with sushi and sashimi preparation
- Fish preparation, sushi topping preparation, and sushi rice management
- Supporting sushi operations during service
- Working closely with the counter and kitchen teams
- Ingredient management, quality control, and sanitation management
- Assisting the head chef with daily operations
Requirements
- Experience working in sushi, washoku, or Japanese restaurants
- Desire to further develop your skills as a sushi chef
- Ability to handle careful preparation and maintain clean, organized work
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Must be able to work in Dallas
- Willingness to learn under the head chef
