A popular waterfront restaurant located in a beautiful harbor town on Long Island’s North Fork is seeking a Sushi Chef.

Known for its scenic waterfront setting, the restaurant has long been popular with local residents and visitors for its fresh seafood and sushi. The area attracts many travelers during the summer, offering the opportunity to work in a relaxed, resort-like environment unique to the United States.

Compensation

$70,000–$80,000 per year
Housing support available

Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule

Approximately 60 hours per week
This position does not include tips.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving sushi, sashimi, and rolls
• Processing and preparing fish
• Managing ingredients, food safety, and sanitation
• Performing general duties at the sushi counter and in the kitchen
• Collaborating with team members to support restaurant operations

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Sushi Chef
• Fish preparation and knife skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• English proficiency is not required
