The restaurant is looking for candidates who can handle both sushi and rolls.
There are two main openings: a takeout-focused sushi chef position and a sushi bar chef position.

Compensation

 $35–$36 per hour
Equivalent annual income: approximately $72,800–$74,880
Based on a 40-hour workweek

Main Responsibilities

  •  Prepare sushi and rolls
  •  Handle takeout sushi production
  •  Prepare ingredients and maintain quality
  •  Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  •  Work efficiently while keeping presentation consistent
  •  Coordinate with the kitchen and sushi team

2. Sushi Bar Chef

This position is for a sushi chef working at the sushi bar.
Because this is expected to be a high-end sushi environment, the role requires not only sushi skills but also professionalism, cleanliness, presence, and guest awareness.

Compensation

 Approximately $2,000 per week
Equivalent annual income: approximately $104,000


Main Responsibilities

  •  Prepare and serve sushi and rolls at the sushi bar
  •  Handle fish preparation and ingredient management
  •  Maintain quality and presentation standards
  •  Interact with guests at the counter when needed
  •  Support a refined sushi dining experience
  •  Work closely with the chef team

Requirements

  • Experience with sushi and/or rolls
  •  Ability to prepare both sushi and rolls
  •  Clean, careful, and professional work style
  •  Ability to work with speed and accuracy
  •  Strong teamwork skills
