A popular ramen restaurant in Manhattan, New York is seeking a Store Manager Candidate.
The restaurant is planning to open a new location in the future. The selected candidate will first join the currently operating restaurant and take part in daily store operations, staff management, service quality control, and performance management on-site.
Through this process, the company will evaluate the candidate’s management ability, leadership skills, and suitability to oversee an entire restaurant. Depending on performance and fit, there may be an opportunity to take on the Store Manager role at the new location in the future.
This position is available for an immediate start and is ideal for someone who wants to use their management experience in a ramen restaurant or food service environment while taking the next step into broader store operations management.

Responsibilities
- Oversee overall store operations
- Train and manage staff schedules
- Lead the team as an on-site team leader
- Maintain customer service quality
- Manage sales, food cost, labor cost, and other key numbers
- Operate the store with an understanding of P&L
- Manage sanitation and inventory control
- Improve daily operations
- Prepare for potential future management of a new location
Requirements
- Management experience in the food service industry
- Leadership skills to manage and support a team
- Understanding of basic store operation numbers
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to take responsibility for the overall store operation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a ramen restaurant
- Experience working at a Japanese restaurant
- Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Leader
