A newly launched modern Japanese restaurant in Manhattan is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help deliver an elevated dining experience rooted in kaiseki traditions.
This role will support the General Manager in front-of-house operations and team leadership, acting as a key pillar for service excellence.

$60,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience and skills)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily FOH operations and service flow
- Supervise and train service staff
- Uphold and elevate the guest experience
- Act as a liaison between the GM and front-line team
- Support events and special dining programs
Requirements
- Prior experience in upscale dining as Assistant Manager or equivalent
- Strong leadership and hospitality mindset
- Excellent communication in English
- Interest in Japanese cuisine and cultural service practices is a plus
