This upscale sushi restaurant is located in Southampton, one of New York’s most prestigious residential areas. Loved by sophisticated and affluent clientele, the restaurant is scheduled to reopen in early September 2025 after a major renewal.

We are now hiring for Sushi Chefs and a Head Sushi Chef to join the team as we enter a new chapter. The restaurant offers a refined dining experience centered on fresh, seasonal ingredients, elevated sushi, and elegant service.

Open Positions

1. Sushi Chef

• Hourly Wage: $22–$25 (based on experience and skills)
• Responsibilities:
  
  • Prepare nigiri, maki, sashimi, and other sushi items
  • Ingredient prep and quality control
  • Assist with light customer interaction at the counter
    
• Requirements:
  
  • Prior experience working as a sushi chef
  • Strong understanding of ingredient handling and seasonal flavors
  • Basic communication in English or Japanese
    

2. Head Sushi Chef

• Hourly Wage: $40
• Responsibilities:
  
  • Lead and supervise the sushi counter
  • Create menus and develop signature rolls
  • Train junior chefs and monitor quality
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control
• Requirements:
  
  • Previous experience leading a sushi counter
  • High standards for quality, hygiene, and technique
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
