A renowned Omakase-style sushi restaurant located in New Jersey, easily accessible from New York, is seeking a Sushi Chef to join the team. You will support the lead Sushi Chef by assisting with fish preparation, nigiri and maki rolls, and ensuring smooth service throughout the Omakase experience. Prior Omakase experience is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Sushi Chef
- Experience working in an Omakase setting preferred
- Proficient knife skills and fish preparation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Flexible with scheduling
- Basic English communication skills are a plus
Salary
Approx. $70,000 annually (including tips)
